"What Are My Incentives on Long Island?"
LIPA's Home Performance with ENERGYSTAR® Program:
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR was designed to create a more comfortable, energy efficient home by applying building science. Participating contractors like Home Tech Construction, must be accredited by the BPI (Building Performance Institute) and administered by CSG (Conservation Service Group) and adhere to strict guidelines. CSG reviews and approves proposed measures and assures quality control. Typically incentives are 25% of the approved measures.
Home
Tech Energy will charge you $390.00 for a Comprehensive Home Energy
Audit under the program. We
will then provide you with an audit report, this will tell you where
your problems areas are and will estimate savings
if the recommended work is performed.
You will also be supplied with a detailed work scope and a
breakdown of the cost and applicable incentives.
We will make sure you are given all the information you need to
make the right decision for your home and family.
If you select Home Tech to perform the recommended work we will refund
to you 10% of the total job price up to $390.00, what you spent on your
audit. So by choosing the right energy contractor you could save
the cost of the audit and the cash costing energy leaking from your home
every day!
