    So, you are thinking about doing an extension, or maybe a dormer. But where do you begin??? How do you get the ball rolling, what about permits, plans and hiring a contractor? Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place to go and get solid advise, a preliminary estimate* before anything else and then follow through to completion?

    Well there is such a place, and better yet, you have already taken the first steps to making your dreams a reality! Let us explain the process:

1. You contact us and set up an appointment to meet a go over your ideas in person, at your convenience and at your place of residence.

2. We meet with you and listen to your ideas. We can make honest suggestions and provide you with a preliminary estimate, usually within a day or two!

3. If you elect to proceed with the project at that point we can contract with you to provide everything from design services, blueprints, engineering and finally permit filing. All at a price that compares favorably to what an architect would charge you to perform the same services! Now comes the good part! What if you were to receive a portion of the design fee back towards the cost of construction? That is exactly what we offer, you contract with us to design your addition, and if you award the job to us, we will credit you back a portion of the design fees to use towards the actual construction! But don't worry, you want to send the plans out and get a few estimates, no problem! All we ask is that you follow some sound advise when choosing a contactor. We will provide you with bid plans to give to any contractor you want! You don't have to use us, and you are under no obligation for anything but the design.  We handle the design, we handle the permits, you make the decisions and you remain in charge! 4. We give you a firm estimate on the project as it is designed. You decide if you would like us to build your new addition, or the contractor of your choice!

5. We will construct your addition exactly as planned! Remember, the designer is on site, questions can be answered instantly in many cases, no calling in the architect to make decisions, no lost time and no extra architects fees! Of course there can be unforeseen circumstances with any job, but isn't it nice to have the guy who designed the project right there to oversee it! That is something that an architect can't offer you, they can't possibly be on site on a regular basis! That is, unless you would like to pay them by the hour to do so!
