Extensive Remodel Freeport, Long Island, New York

When we first showed up to estimate this job, my first impression was, "What a mess!" The home had just been raised 10', an an entire new structural support system built on 21 pilings was in place. The existing now decorative foundation had been extended up to meet the house. Siding was 8 feet off the ground on the outside, and the added on to foundation walls needed to be hidden. The Architect, Russ Jordan of Freeport had designed a new front porch to break up the stark face of the newly raised home.

In addition, the whole upper floor, needed to be renovated and expanded, new kitchen and 2 bathrooms installed where only 1 existed before. It was quite the challenge.  The exterior siding is Alcoa Liberty Elite in Sage with white fish scales as a accent on the new garage gable. All new windows are Andersen windows in their Tilt-Wash line. The Roofing Is GAF Timberline 25 year 3 tab. The front porch features Perma porch posts and railings.
